1983 Espresso & Panini Bar is a café serving amazing food and coffee in Cremorne, Victoria. Throughout the day the café is bustling with locals and professionals eager for their daily caffeine fix, a delicious panini, fresh salads or a warming winter soup.
Similar to Procal Dairies, 1983 Espresso & Panini Bar is a family owned and operated business. Heading inside the café you can expect a warm welcome from the friendly staff, including Dee.
Dee has been managing 1983 Espresso & Panini Bar for over a decade. She works closely with her family, her mum and sister both in the kitchen.
“I’ve been a part of 1983 Espresso for over 10 years now. I came in to work for two weeks and 10 years later I’m still here. I think that speaks a lot.
“This café stands out to me as it’s a family business. My beautiful sister and her business partner are owners of the café.”
1983 Espresso & Panini Bar have been using Procal Dairies milk for over four years. While Dee says she’s no latte-art expert, she’s a lover of Procal’s high quality milk.
“There are a few things we love about Procal milk. Firstly, the consistency is always beautiful and fresh. There’s also always a long expiry which is really good for a café.
“Special shout out to our delivery driver who always makes ordering so simple and easy. He’s always got a smile on his face on a delivery day.”
After 10 years in the business and many COVID 19 related closures, we asked Dee what the secret to success is.
“The key to running a successful business is to do everything with love and passion. And make it like you’re making it for yourself.”
