History

Procal Dairies is a privately owned company that commenced operations in July 2003.

The directors of Procal, who have approximately 80 years’ combined experience in food manufacturing and distribution, recognised that there was an opportunity for a company to enter the Dairy industry and provide quality dairy products combined with exceptional levels of service to both the retail and foodservice trade.

The name Procal is an acronym for PROtein and CALcium while the phrase ‘Everything Good In Milk’ refers to the commitment that Procal has to the quality of our dairy products and level of service we provide. It is because of this commitment to these ideals, and utilising our network of dedicated franchisees, that Procal Dairies has grown to become one of the largest independent dairy providers in Australia.

Our Procal Head office is located in Campbellfield, Victoria, while our New South Wales branch operates from premises in Mascot.

Dairy

Procal Dairies is one of the most modern fresh milk dairies in the world.

Completed in 2010, our dairy is capable of producing over 80 million litres of milk annually and uses some of the most efficient filling equipment available.

Procal milk arrives daily, direct from farms located in Victoria and Southern NSW. Milk is then quickly and efficiently processed into various products, including our quality milk, cream and yoghurts. Incorporated into the modern design are techniques to minimise our use of resources particularly water gas and electricity.

Because of our experience within the Australian beverage industry, the management & staff of Procal Dairies have many strong and long lasting relationships with both retail and wholesale customers.

Many of our customers have different needs from our product range: From restaurants needing a quality cooking cream to cafes who simply want the best milk partner for coffee or supermarkets and delis that stock our fantastic yoghurts.
